Dr. Dinesh Watawana

An award-winning former war and foreign correspondent, Dr. Watawana has been a ministerial and developmental Adviser while also strategizing several leading Sri Lankan and global brands.  An ardent protagonist of sustainable development, Dr. Watawana holds a Grad Cert in International Business, an MBA in Business Psychology and a PhD in Psychological Engineering. 

Major Gen. Rtd Channa Goonethilleke

A veteran in organizational and contingency dynamics, Maj. Gen. Goonethilleke held the pivotal position of Chief of Staff of Sri Lanka Army in a distinguished career spanning over 3 decades.  He was also Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force.  Key positions he held also includes Director General – General Staff at the Office of The Chief of Defence Staff.

Prof. KKDS Ranaweera

An authority on ethos of sustainable development, Prof. KKDS Ranaweera is a Senior Professor at University of Sri Jayawardenapura where he headed the Department of Food Science & Technology while also extending his purview to University of Vocational Technology as a Senior Professor.  His multi-faceted acumen sees him serving as a Consultant to the Industrial Development Board, as well as, a resource professional for the Ministry of Education & Higher Education.c

The Chief Executive Officer and Board Director of the SAARC Development Fund, Dr. Sunil Motiwal’s stature and acumen spread over 3 illustrious decades, from the UN to the SAARC, as well as, international business.  Dr. Motiwal is a PhD in Strategic Management, MPA (Master’s in Public Administration), MBA (Master’s in Business Administration), Post Graduate Diploma in International Business, Post Graduate Diploma in Law & HR and, B.Com (Hons).  He was a Senior International Expert to UN-APCTT, ESCAP & UNDP, and among many senior positions held in global business, VP & COO, JVC Japan and VP for HCL Group, India.

Dr. Oshadi Peiris

One of Sri Lanka’s leading women in education and development Dr. Kala Oshadhi Peiris has been an international Consultant for many UN agencies and development organizations. The first Sri Lankan woman to become an Eisenhower Fellow, Dr. Peiris is an Attorney-at-Law and holds a Doctorate in Business Administration with a BSc in Bio Science and an LLM in Intellectual Property Rights. She is a university lecturer and an international consultant to many UN agencies and development organizations. She is a university lecturer and has also held Consultancy positions at the Ministry of Tertiary Education and Price Waterhouse Cooper.

Dr.Tarita Shankar

Considered to be among India’s top 50 women in education, Dr. Tarita Shankar is the Chairperson for Indira Group of Institutes, one of the most diverse centers of learning in the sub-continent with higher educational partnerships with many countries.  Dr. Shanker holds a Degree in Arts and Law and is an alumni of the Harvard Business School, USA.

Dr. Samantha Rathnayake

Dr. Rathnayake counts over 20 years of management solutions experience in diverse sectors including the Food and Agriculture Organization of United Nations (UN FAO), the ICICI Bank India, the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) and the Sri Lanka Foundation (SLF).  He serves as a faculty member/management consultant at the Postgraduate Institute of Management (PIM) of University of Sri Jayewardenepura. He holds a special degree in HRM, an MBA from PIM and PhD from Infrastructure University of Malaysia. He is also a Certified Professional.

Ms. Champika Amarasekera

An Attorney-at-Law, Ms. Champika Amarasekera is Chairperson of Sri Lanka Foundation Institute, Sri Lanka’s premier adult educational institute coming directly under the purview of the President. She is a respected developmental catalyst and takes a personal interest in sustainable development.

Mr. Ajith Perera

The Secretary General of Federation of Chambers of Commerce & Industry of Sri Lanka Mr. Ajith Perera (MBA-UK, PGDA -UK, EDBA-Sri Lanka, Dip in Credit Mgmt-Sri Lanka) is a Visiting Lecturer at Institute of Personal Management(Sri Lanka) and Emirates College of Technology(UAE). A career banker Mr. Perera served on the constitutional reform committee at SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry and was a catalyst in the formation of Asia Pacific Trade Agreement Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Beijing, China and the Indo Ceylon Economic dialogue.

Dr. NNJ Navaratne

Dr. Navaratne, PhD (Keio Japan), MA (Keio Japan) is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Human Resources Management, Faculty of Management & Finance of the University of Colombo and represents Vice Chancellor Senior Professor Chandrika Wijeyaratne and the Board of Governors of the University of Colombo.
